Review
Two things I loved:
1. The Two Perspectives🕊
I love that Hoover allows the readers to connect with both the mother and daughter by switching points of view. I found myself feeling emotionally attached to the story because I understand where both main characters were coming from.
2. The Character’s Relationships🌻
This book has numerous interesting relationships: mom and daughter, sisters, aunt and sister, etcetera. Each relationship felt quite developed in the plot and had a purpose. I also found each relationship insightful to my personal life and delved into grief from various perspectives.
One thing I wasn't a fan of:
I felt the story moved extremely fast at times. I would have loved to see more time spent on certain aspects of the plot. Overall, a great read!
