Review

Two things I loved:

1. Focused on the Individual šŸ•Š

  • The collection of poems felt different from Kaurā€™s previous collections because the poems were based on the individual instead of relationships. I enjoyed this because it felt me feel more in tune with myself.

2. Short šŸŒ»

  • The poems in this collection are definitely shorter than the last few collections. As a university student, I prefer shorter material because I donā€™t typically have more than a few minutes to read some poetry. However, this is completely subjectiveā€”keep this in mind if youā€™re considering picking this collection up!

One thing I wasn't a fan of:

  • Some of the material felt unoriginal. I felt that some pieces were general and cliche; I heard them already. I think I needed more reflective pieces in this collection
