Review
Two things I loved:
1. Incredibly Summarized 🕊
Numerous research studies support Clear’s strategies for creating good habits. He references to research in every chapter. Thus, this book is perfect for someone reading their first book about building good habits: it touches on concepts discussed in countless self-help books.
2. Tons of Relatable Examples 🌻
I enjoyed Clear’s writing; he describes complex research but follows the information with relatable, mundane events. This writing style helped me understand the research profoundly. Also, he would provide more than one example each time! As a result, I would always be able to relate to at least one of the examples, which assisted in applying the content to my daily life.
One thing I wasn't a fan of:
Although I enjoyed Clear’s references to previous research, it did become redundant at some point. I found myself having flashbacks to my first-year psychology courses, which made me question the novelty of the material. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed learning from this book!
