Review

Character Development

This book blew my mind with its character development, especially with Feyre. There was something so powerful about how Feyre in Tamlinā€™s estate is depicted differently in each book: desperation, broken, empowered. I also loved the relationships that formed between the characters; we see Nesta and Cassian develop an attraction, and Elain and Azriel develop a friendship of sorts. I adored reading this book!

One thing I wasn't a fan ofā€¦

This book dived deeper into political relations and high-fantasy, which doesnā€™t quite align with my interests. I love myself some romance! Maas explored politics and fantasy expertedlyā€”it was beautifully crafted. However, I personally found myself bored at times and flipping through the pages for some action. Iā€™m just not the biggest fan of politics, and that is okay!Ā
