Character Development

This book blew my mind with its character development, especially with Feyre. There was something so powerful about how Feyre in Tamlin’s estate is depicted differently in each book: desperation, broken, empowered. I also loved the relationships that formed between the characters; we see Nesta and Cassian develop an attraction, and Elain and Azriel develop a friendship of sorts. I adored reading this book!

One thing I wasn't a fan of…

This book dived deeper into political relations and high-fantasy, which doesn’t quite align with my interests. I love myself some romance! Maas explored politics and fantasy expertedly—it was beautifully crafted. However, I personally found myself bored at times and flipping through the pages for some action. I’m just not the biggest fan of politics, and that is okay!
