Insight into the Sisters 🕊

This book focused more on the relationships within the Night Court, especially between Feyre and her sisters. Maas develops Nesta and Elain’s characters to set up their plots for future books! It was nice to take a break from the fast pace of the previous books in the series and have a light read from Maas!

One thing I wasn't a fan of…

As expected, this book does not compare to the action, characters, and plot of the previous books in the series—it is not supposed to! Naturally, I felt a little bored with the storyline because there wasn’t a clear plot. The book lacked substance for me! However, I believe the intention of this book was never to make it compare to Maas’ other books, but to provide readers with context for future books.
