Introduction
The pandemic is throwing everyone on an endless loop. Restrictions, restrictions and restrictions—that is all the talk these days. With numerous coronavirus variants emerging, it seems as if humanity shall never catch a break 💥
For one, what about our social connections? As humans, we strive to connect with others; this is rooted deep into our evolution because our survival depended on our ability to belong to a tribe. But with the pandemic, it seems nearly impossible to connect with others 💕
This blog will explore several methods you can use to connect with your friends safely—virtually! I’ve personally used all of these tactics to keep in touch with my friends. I hope these ideas help you out, too <3
BuzzFeed Quizzes
Sometimes, you just got to re-live your 12-year old self that would take quizzes to figure out if your crush liked you back or not 💟
But all jokes aside, BuzzFeed quizzes are the perfect pastime that helps you get to know your friends better while having a blast! The best part is: there is so much variety. You can take quizzes from anything like sitcoms to your wedding! It is hilarious 😹
You can even get a little naughty with the quizzes you pick if you know what I mean! What a great way to break the ice 💨

Teleparty
Do you miss watching movies with your friends? I did. Thankfully, Netflix invented Netflix party (now called teleparty)! 🙉
This activity is simple and easy! All you need to do is download the extension. Then, choose a Netflix movie with your friends and share the link. The film will play in sync for everyone so that you can recreate the feeling of watching the movie together. As you encounter plot twists and dramatic love triangles, you can chat away in the chat box in the extension! 💬
The one con about this activity is that everyone does need to have Netflix. Other than that, it is an excellent option for a virtual movie night! Get creative with popcorn and drinks, too! 😋
Virtual Games
And, of course, there are tons of games you can play online! 👀
For instance, my boyfriend and I enjoy playing skribbl.io. This game can also be played alone because you can join an existing round! So, it is perfect for when you’re looking for something to do📱

Explore these games with friends and family!
I hope you find something that helps you connect with those around you <3 Times are tough right now, and human connection is more important than ever before. You got this! 🤍
